Blood Pressure Chart
If your blood pressure levels are higher than normal, the first step to improve your levels is to understand the contents of the high blood pressure chart. There are several components.
Normal Blood Pressure – The first is the normal blood pressure reading, which is ideally 120 (systolic pressure) over 80 (diastolic pressure). Anything higher may be considered too high, but a very low reading can also be just as dangerous.
High Blood Pressure (Hypertension) – Another important item that you will see in a high blood pressure chart is your hypertension risk. Cases of hypertension are classified into either stage 1 or stage 2, depending on your blood pressure reading.
The risk of developing hypertension begins when your blood pressure reading exceeds 120 over 80. Fortunately, there are several things you can do to avoid hypertension problems, including lifestyle changes which you probably have been told about already.
If not, you should build a habit of eating more fresh fruits and vegetables instead of the usual processed meats, which can do a lot of damage to your health. You should also get plenty of exercise – even a quick walk around the block every morning can do wonders for your health.
Furthermore, you should quit nasty habits like smoking and excessive alcohol drinking, which don’t do you or your heart any good at all.
Low Blood Pressure – This can be categorized into three main types or ranges, as can be seen in a low blood pressure chart. There is what we call:
- Borderline low blood pressure (90/60) is not really a cause for concern as some people do have naturally low levels.
- Followed by low blood pressure
- and finally dangerously low blood pressure is around (55/33), which requires immediate medical attention.
It is quite important to note that normal blood pressure ranges vary depending on age, gender, race, lifestyle and other factors. So if you want an accurate interpretation of your own readings, you should consult a low blood pressure chart that is specifically designed for your categories.

Of course, you can also ask your doctor for a chart, but if you are looking online there are ones available.
Just remember that very low blood pressure or hypotension is dangerous. Fortunately, you can still get back up to a normal value using simple but effective natural choices. For example, you can quit smoking and reduce or stop drinking alcohol — this move alone can do wonders for your health.
You can also try to get more exercise, drink eight glasses of water everyday, cut down on unhealthy food items, and get adequate hours of sleep at night. Other natural solutions include supplements.
