For instance, it’s very important to lead an active lifestyle and get plenty of exercise. This means that you should be doing some kind of cardio activity for at least an hour a day on most days and on the days that you choose not to exercise, you should still be moving.
If you are overweight you should lose weight.
You should also quit smoking if you do and cut down on how much alcohol you drink, as these factors have been linked to heart disease. While heart disease and nutrition are closely linked, it’s also important to make sure you do more when it comes to maintaining a healthy heart.
